BELL COLLINS SPRINGS Bell Collins Springs, 91, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, October 05, 2017. Mrs. Springs was born in Georgetown, SC a daughter of the late Henry Spring and Olla Tanner Spring.She was a member of Palmetto Street Church of God and worked her entire life as a seamstress at places such as White Swan Cleaners for 27 years, Marlowe Manufacturing for 6 years and One Hour Martinizing for many years until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Lee Benton Collins; second husband, Richard Franklin Springs; son, Jimmy Collins; daughter, Lynn Walker; three grandchildren; brothers, Kirk and Roswell Spring and sisters, Ila Mae Isgett, Marinah Haynes and Apcie Harrell. Surviving are her daughters, Lee (Richard) Bryant and Dale (Alton) Therrell, both of Florence; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and sister, Ollie Bell Jones of Pamplico. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Palmetto Street Church of God.Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
