Ada Alma Smith Jones

Ada Alma Smith Jones, 84, of Pamplico, SC, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024. She was born in Florence County, SC, the daughter of the late Lewis Oliver Smith and Evelean Humphries Smith. She was a former member of the V.F.W and attended Evergreen Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wade Clifford Jones; son, Lewis DeLeon (Susan) Jones; brothers, Lloyd (Georgia) Smith, and Clarence (Marilyn) Smith; sisters, Victoria (Jimmy) Matthews, and Helen S. Brown. Surviving are her sons, Walter Alexander Jones, Jonathan (Hazel) Jones, and Ronald (Mildred) Jones; daughter, Toria Ann (James) Truluck; brothers, Jerry Lawrence (Wendy) Smith, Oliver Smith Jr., Larry Smith, and Talbert Smith; sister, Sherry (W.L.) Carmon, 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Evergreen Baptist Church cemetery.
