Albert Wayne Paffrath

Albert Wayne Paffrath, 86, of Florence, SC, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, the son of the late Wilbert H. Paffrath and Astrid R. Hansen Paffrath. Mr. Paffrath was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Darlington, SC. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Paffrath was an Enrolled Agent for 15 years with H+R Block tax services in Florence, SC. He enjoyed playing cards and bingo with the residents of the Presbyterian Community where he resided. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Paffrath. Surviving are his wife, Betty Jane T. Schott Paffrath; and son, Michael Paffrath, of Allentown, PA. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, in the parish hall at St Mary Virgin Mother Catholic Church in Hartsville, SC. Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at the church. A private burial will be held at a later date.
