Ann Hill Williams

Ruth Ann Hill Williams, 75, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024. Mrs. Williams was born in Williamsburg Co., SC a daughter of the late Henry Ozell Hill and Carolyn McCants Hill. She graduated from the South Carolina School for The Blind, where she met her husband, Fred. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Christian Counseling from the Logos School of Ministry. Ann served in several churches over a span of 50 years as WM director and was involved in Family Music Ministry. Her favorite job was being a Mama. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Stanley Williams; and great-grandson, Harrison Grant Williams. Surviving are her son, Stan (Jessica) Williams; daughter, Mindy (Zack) Osborne; grandchildren, Darren (Lindsey) Williams, Joshua (Amber) Williams, Matthew (Samantha) Williams, Tyler Osborne, and Anna Marie (Gage) Ritch; sister, Ruby (Johnny) Driscoll. Memorials may be made in memory of Harrison Grant Williams to the Shriners Hospital, www.shrinerschildrens.org. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at The Well with the service to be held at 2:00 pm at the church. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
