Ashley Heyward McPherson, 30, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Janice and Johnnie Wilkes, and Kenny Heyward; sister, Shannon Smith; son, Lakken Heyward; nephew, Andra Smith III. Surviving are her parents, Joseph and Susan Benton of Florence; daughters, Jada and Alexa McPherson, Andrea, Ashlynn, and Shannon Heyward of Florence; brothers, Andra “TJ” Smith (Daniella) of Florence, Mikey, Mason, JJ, Trey, Travis Benton of Florence; Great aunt, Donna Matthews of Olanta; uncle, Ken Heyward (Renee) of Dovesville; aunt, Jennifer Heyward of Florence; cousins, Chelsea Heyward, Blake Heyward, and Laine Cox of Florence; nieces and nephews, Maura, Serenity, Kaydance, Braylen, and Liam Smith; lifelong special friend, Keegan Salley. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the family to receive friends immediately following the service.
