Aurelius Deloni "Del" Bigelow Jr.

Aurelius Deloni “Del” Bigelow, Jr., 62, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023. Mr. Bigelow was born in Florence, SC, the son of Ann Hicks Bigelow and the late Aurelius Deloni Bigelow Sr. He was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church. Mr. Bigelow was a graduate of James F. Byrnes Academy and later was employed with Black’s Tire Service. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Odom Bigelow; and brother, Michael Lucas Bigelow, Sr. Surviving is his mother, Ann Hicks Bigelow; father-in-law, John Gill; son, Christopher Bigelow; sisters, Wanda Gail Rudisill and Audrey Bigelow; nieces and nephews, William Thomas Tucker, Jr., Misty Michelle Martin, Michael Lucas Bigelow, Jr., and Benjamin Zeddie Bigelow; and four great-nieces and nephews. The family wanted to thank those at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center and Fresenius Dialysis for their support. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 5, 2023, from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023, at 2:00 PM, in the funeral home chapel. The burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
