Autrey H. Sellers

Autrey H. Sellers, 87, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024, at McLeod Hospice House surrounded by his family. Mr. Sellers was born in Horry County, the son of the late Nancy Bertha Cooper Sellers and Johnny Harmon Sellers. He retired from La-Z-Boy and served Nursing Home residents through his music ministry. Mr. Sellers loved racing and fishing. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Wayne Shannon Sellers, Jr. and all of his siblings, Dalton Sellers, Wayne Sellers, Patricia Taylor. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Sellers; son, Gene Autrey (Melanie) Sellers; daughter, Bonita Sellers (Glenn) Canterbury; grandchildren, Kristie Sellers (Eric) Springs, Joshua Autrey (Donte) Evans-Sellers and Brandie Leean (Rob) Walter; great-grandchildren, Matthews McCray, Rayna McCray, Rion Nicholas McCray and Chase Springs; and great-great grandchildren, Carlos, Kaylee, Mila, Harper, and Riplee. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
