Becky Carol Tanner

Becky Carol Tanner, of Florence, SC, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Ethel Miller Tanner. Becky retired after 20 years of teaching in Darlington and Florence County Schools and she was a member of Effingham Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her sister Evelyn Tanner Holland Zoldak; nephews, Anthony Wade (Laura) Holland, Thomas William (Tammy) Holland, and Randall Wayne Holland; great niece, Marcy Holland Turner; great nephews, David Bennett Holland, Bobby Curtis Holland, Thomas Gauge Holland, Graham Michael Holland, Mark Edward Ritch and Frederick Vincent Ritch; 3 great-great nieces and 2 great-great nephews. The family will receive family and friends from 11:00-12:00 PM Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Mount Hope Mausoleum Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. The burial will follow in the cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
