Bertha Brown Long

BERTHA B. LONG Charleston, SC Bertha B. Long, 80, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 after an illness. Mrs. Long was a daughter of the late Gary Brown and Minnie Rotan Brown.She was born in Effingham, SCand was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl B. Long; a son, Ronald Sansbury, and two brothers, Randall Brown and Billy Brown. Surviving are her son, Gerald Sansbury of Columbia, SC; her daughters, Johanna Monogan of Charleston, SC and Belinda Bailey of Newark, DE; six grandchildren, Ronnie Bailey of Chadds Ford, PA, Chris Monogan of Charleston, SC, Angie Sansbury, Debbie Sansbury and Cindy Jeffcoat, all of Columbia, SC, and Jaime O'Dell of Wilmington, NC; fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; her brother, Duane Brown of Timmonsville, SCand her sisters, Jacqueline Fiorani of Bridgeton, NJ and Margaret Nolan of Macclenny, FL. Funeral services will be held graveside at Florence National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October, 28, 2011 directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. on Friday morning at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the church of one's choice to the Glory of God and in memory of Bertha Long.
