Bertha Jean Warrick Lamb

Bertha Jean Warrick Lamb, 78, of Florence, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022 after an illness. Bertha was born in Jacksonville, FL, a daughter of the late Jewell and Maxine Hammock Warrick. She dedicated her life as a caregiver to others, but mainly she was a loving and devoted caregiver to her family. She was a member of Florence Baptist Temple and as an Outreach Leader, she made sure all of her Sunday School class members and church members received birthday cards and such. She also volunteered with Agape Hospice. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Jewell Warrick and Mac Warrick. Left to cherish her memory are her 4 daughters, Tammy (Wayne) Gray, Terri (Shawn) Hudson, Tracy (Rusty) Touchberry, and Tonya (Brad) Hanser; 2 sisters, Betty Shook and Ruth Strickland; 5 grandchildren, Mark Louis (Rachel) Horne, Jr., Paul Shawn Hudson, Bethany Grace Hudson, Madison Elisabeth Touchberry, and Lauren Elizabeth Hanser; and great-granddaughter, Scarlett Elizabeth Horne. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Thursday at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Florence Baptist Temple Chapel.Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
