Bessie Mae White Florence, S.C. BESSIE MAE CHRISTOPHER WHITE, 84, of Florence, died Friday, April 22, 2011 in a local healthcare facility. Mrs. White was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Henry Lawrence and Amelia Hewitt Christopher. She was a member of Tans Bay Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, Willie Joe White, Sr. of Florence; Children; Calvin Wayne Frazier of Columbia, Linda Frazier Barfield of Florence and Christopher Allan Frazier of OH; Step-Children; Willie Joe White, Jr. of Timmonsville, Karen Denise Boles of Piedmont, Elizabeth "Libby" Edwards of Timmonsville and Everett Eugene White of Florence; 4 Grandchildren, 7 Step-Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Step-Great-Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Blackmon. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M.
