Betty Lois Muckenfuss

Betty Lois Rogers Muckenfuss, 76, of Ash, NC, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. She was born the daughter of the late George and Pauline Rogers. She loved classic country music, spending time with her family, watching squirrels, and flower gardening. She also enjoyed motorcycle rides and camping with her husband. Mrs. Muckenfuss is predeceased by her parents along with her son, William John “Billy” Waters III; brothers, George Paul “Buck” Rogers, Lenious Franklin Rogers, William Rogers; and sisters, Joyce Ann McNeil, Linda Rogers Taylor; and great grandchild, Karlyn Lynch. She is survived by her Husband, Tom Muckenfuss; Daughters, Becky (Craig) Garges, Sharon (Joey) Williamson; stepdaughter, Michele (James) Williams; and stepson, Mike (Lee) Muckenfuss; grandchildren, Barry Poston, Jessica Lynch, Brandon Poston, Noah Flowers, Brandon Muckenfuss, David Smith, Daniel Smith, Nikki Blackman, Adam Waters; and great-grandchildren, Adelyn Street, Kaitlyn Waters, Elijah Poston, and Collin Lynch. Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 PM on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
