Bhuvana Parameswaran

It is with profound sadness and deep love that the family of Dr. Bhuvana Parameswaran of Florence, South Carolina, announces her passing away at the age of 64 on the 14th of October. Bhuvana was preceded in death by her parents Sulochana Parameswaran and Parameswaran Padmanabhan and her late husband Dr. Ashish Shankar. She will be remembered by her daughters Priyanka Shankar and Shreya Shankar and her sister Dr. Gowri Parameswaran and her large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws who will miss her dearly. Bhuvana worked at the South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics in Hartsville, SC for more than 25 years. She was deeply committed to her work and her students brought her great joy. Friends and family of the deceased can pay their respects on the 17th of October at 1 PM to 2 PM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home in Florence, South Carolina.
