Blanche Hunsucker Lewis

Blanche Hunsucker Lewis, 91, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024. Mrs. Lewis was born the daughter of the late Leila Carabo and Robert Knox Hunsucker. She attended College Park Baptist Church and was very active when able to do so. She taught Sunday School and was a member of the choir. She also worked in the daycare for Greenwood Baptist Church for 36 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Tillman Lewis; her brothers and sisters. Surviving are her sons, Robert (Jo Ann) Lewis, Tony (Pam) Lewis and Tim (Denise) Lewis; grandchildren, Amy Lewis (Chris) Powell, Jennifer Lewis (Bradley) Logan, Jessica Lewis and Megan (C.J.) Metz; great-grandchildren, Graeson, Haedyn, Carson, Caroline, Addison, Gavin, Leni, Riley, Keira, Jacob, Kylie, Henry, and Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 18, 2024; at College Park Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday at the Church directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
