Brandy Lynn Berger Bates

Brandy Lynn Berger Bates, 48, of Florence, South Carolina passed away unexpectedly at 5:00 AM, January 21, 2022 at home from complications of a recently diagnosed throat cancer. Brandy was born in Mount Vernon, Ohio to Dan Berger and the late Linda (Nagel) Kindinger. The family moved to Mansfield, Ohio where Brandy graduated from Madison High School in 1992. May 14,2010, Brandy married the love of her life, William “Bill” Bates. Together Bill and Brandy enjoyed their quality life together, and loved raising their fur babies, Lucy, Lexi, and Lady. Brandy is survived by her husband, Bill; step-son, Coleman Bates; father, Dan Berger and step-mother, Marti Berger; brother, Jason Berger; and grandparents, Vaun (Gail) Berger. Brandy is also survived by her mother-in-law, Candy (Brian) Cain; brothers-in-law, Todd (Katie) Bates and Matthew (Jennifer) Bates; niece, Riley Berger, nephew, Ryder Bates, and nieces, Riley, Lindsay, and Hailey Bates; step-father, Kim Kindinger; brother, Todd Kindinger; step-brothers, Steve (Julie) Wick, Michael (Michaele) Wick, and several step-nieces and nephews. Brandy enjoyed working at home where she served as a Project Coordinator for Airship. In previous positions, Brandy worked as a Real Estate Closing Officer in both Mansfield, Ohio and Fort Myers Florida. Brandy, her beautiful smile, and outgoing personality was loved by all she met. Words cannot express how much she will be missed. There will be no services at this time, a celebration of life will be planned by the family, at a later date.
