Brenda Harrell Capps

Brenda Harrell Capps (71), wife of Boyd Capps, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021. She was born October 23, 1950. Brenda was a beloved wife and mother and cherished sister and daughter. She was loved by countless other family members, friends, and many others that crossed her path. She was an amazing caregiver and devoted her life to caring for her family. Boyd and Brenda were married on August 27, 1971, and just celebrated 50 years together.They had three children. Words cannot describe the unconditional love she had for her family.Brenda had a contagious laugh and enjoyed spending time with people that enjoyed laughing with her. She loved playing games, watching NASCAR races and good music. Brenda was also a dog lover and cared for many furry family members during her life. She was kind and caring and has definitely left her mark on this world.She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. Brenda was predeceased by her two sons, Christopher and Patrick, and her father, Monroe Harrell. She leaves behind her husband Boyd, daughter Susan (Daryl) Oliver, sister Beverly (Billy) Hanna and Mother Irene Hyman and other extended family. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Mount Hope Mausoleum Chapel directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The Capps family will receive friends and family after the service at the Mausoleum.
