Bryan Kelly Collins

Bryan Kelly Collins, 45, of Florence, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. Mr. Collins was born in Florence, SC a son of Kenneth A. Collins and Judy Pulley Collins.He was a graduate of Florence Darlington Technical College with an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology and from Francis Marion University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering Technology.He received numerous awards throughout his academic career, was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, and was certified as a Volunteer Tutor with the Laubach Literacy Agency.He was employed at Davis & Floyd Engineering Consultants for over 20 years and was a member of Mizpah Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Horace and Ruth Alford Collins; maternal grandparents, Harvey and Ruth Sweat Pulley; and two aunts, Peggy Butler and Nancy Harrelson. Surviving are his parents of Florence; a brother, Rodney (Amanda) Collins of Florence, and two nephews, Austin and Sean Collins, both of Livermore, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Music Department or Audio Visual Department of Mizpah Baptist Church, 233 North Price Road, Florence, SC 29506. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Mizpah Baptist Church with the service to be held at 2:30 pm in the church sanctuary.Burial will follow in Mizpah Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
