Bryant E. Welch

Bryant E. Welch, 83, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024. Mr. Welch was the son of the late Friendly B. Welch and Bertie Mae Hutchinson Welch. Bryant served his country in the United States Air Force. Before his retirement, he was employed with Horne Ford in Florence, where he retired after thirty-nine years of service. He loved cars, NASCAR and was a huge South Carolina Gamecock fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Donald Welch, Jennings Welch, and Geraldine Welch Frazier. Surviving are his wife Anne Summey Welch, and a sister-in-law, Carolyn A. Welch. A committal service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 9th at the Veterans National Cemetery, 1001 Stockade Drive, Florence, SC.
