Carine Tedder Banks

Carine Tedder Banks “Doodle”, 89, of Florence, SC, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Tedder and Bertha Evans Tedder. Carine worked at Merita Bread Company for 15 years. She was the spouse of a US Air Force Veteran. She was a member of Lighthouse Free Will Baptist Church and formerly attended Bethany Free Will Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Banks; her parents; brothers, Larue Tedder, Kelly Tedder, and Roosevelt Tedder; sisters, Louise Oliver, Thelma Dorrell, Mildred Vause, Magdalene Kirby, Nell Caulder, and Lorine Montrose. She is survived by her son, Allen Banks of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter, Tracey (Charles) Smith of Darlington, SC; grandchildren, Jessica Banks, Meagan Young, Jimmy Smith, and Elizabeth Smith; and 12 great grandchildren. Thank you to Traditions Hospice (especially Carol Ann and Opal) for their wonderful care. A family led memorial service will be held at a later date.
