Carol Anne Williamson Mckenzie Emrich

Carol Anne Williamson McKenzie Emrich, 79, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Carol was born in Greenville, SC, the daughter of Rosemary Johnson Avin and the late William Roger Williamson, Sr. She graduated from McClenaghan High School and received her Nursing Degree from Florence Darlington Technical College. Carol was a nurse in the Florence area for over 35 years. Surviving are her husband, Edward Charles Emrich; daughter, Betsy McKenzie of Washington, DC; sons, Tony “Matt” McKenzie of Boone, NC, William “Chris” (Penny) McKenzie of Florence, SC and Paul (Brandi) McKenzie of Lewisville, NC, and; grandchildren, Kaitlin (Drew) Sloan of Kennett Square, PA, Emrich McKenzie of Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Connor McKenzie of Paris Island, SC, Hayden McKenzie of Pamplico, SC, Maggie McKenzie of Lewisville, NC and Chloe McKenzie of Lewisville, NC; brothers, Roger (Susan) Williamson and Bobby Williamson; and sister, Janet (Tom) Freeman.
