Carol Deans Strother

Carol Deans Strother, 79, of Blenheim, SC, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. She was born in Evergreen Community of Florence County, the daughter of the late William D. Murray and Cappie Edwards Murray. Mrs. Strother was a retired barber, who worked for Hams Barber Shop. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alton W. Strother; and son, Lonnie Powers. Surviving are her sons, Frankie (Sandra) Powers and Johnny Powers; daughters, Doris (Daval) Williams and Donna Oliver; grandchildren, Toni Smith, Amber Watson, Daval Williams Jr., Gavin Sanders, Andrew Williams, James Lewis, Dylan Adams, and Kristin Williams; and 7 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Friday, May 31, 2024, in the Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment is to follow immediately after the service. Memorials may be made Bethel Baptist Church, 1520 N.
