Carolyn Renay Ivey

Carolyn Renay Ivey, 73. of Florence, SC, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Ms. Ivey was the daughter of the late Willie Estelle Ferrell Driggers and Curtis Driggers, Sr. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandchild, Dixie Lynn Deas; brothers, Frank Driggers, Curtis Driggers, Phillip Driggers, Willie Driggers, J. W. Driggers, Marion Barfield and Euell Barfield; and sisters, Evangelene Jeffords, Betty Jo Brisson, Gretchen Blackwell, Edna Marie Creel, Bonnie Mae Brooks and Ann Poston. Ms. Ivey is survived by her son, Harlan Donnell Melton of Columbia; daughters, Tina Delaine (Robert) Adams of Florence and Gena Renay Melton (Shane Catoe) of Kershaw, SC; grandchildren, Ryan Chapple, Jennifer Chapple, Alyssa Teresi, Gena Nicole Catoe, Emma Marie Adams, and Olivia Grace (Augustus) McClure; great-grandchildren, Adaline Grace McClure and Wyatt Jordan McClure; and sister, Sara Jane “Jinnie” (William) Hudson of Florence.
