Catherine Locklair Weatherford

Catherine Locklair Weatherford, 85, of Pamplico, passed away after a long illness on September 12, 2021. She was born in Timmonsville, SC, to the late Letha Mae Floyd Locklair and Madison O.C. Locklair. She was a homemaker and also worked some odd jobs.She traveled extensively due to her husband’s military career and returned to Pamplico upon his retirement.She loved to cook and bake for her family. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Harry Weatherford, Sr.; daughter, Virginia “Jenny” Todd; many sisters and brothers; and a grandson, Joshua Weatherford. Mrs. Weatherford is survived by four children, Harry Weatherford, Jr. (Barbara) of Shreveport, LA, Kathy Pergerson (Johnnie) of Reidsville, NC, Barry Weatherford (Cindy) of Irmo, SC and Carol Little of Florence, SC; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and sister, Diane Baker of Williamstown, KY. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Florence National Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
