Charles R. Atchley

Charles R. Atchley, 87, of Effingham, SC passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Mr. Atchley was born in Davis, Oklahoma a son of the late Benny Atchley and Dorothy Hill Atchley.He was a retail manager. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Agnes Fay Wren Atchley, who passed away in 2011; sons, Albert Atchley, Allen Atchley, Anthony Atchley; daughter, Angela Atchley; brothers, Willy Atchley and James Atchley. Surviving are his son, Arley (Mary) Atchley of Effingham; 12 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren; brothers, Virgil Atchley of Davis, OK and John Atchley of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters, Phillis Connry of Lexington, OK, Helen Richards of Davis, OK, Ozie Bryant of Midwest City, OK, Willma Brantley of Davis, OK, and Sharon Ingram of Payola, OK; and many nieces and nephews. Burial will take place at a later date in Memory Gardens, Pampa, Texas.
