Charles Bailey Bynum

Charles Bailey Bynum Florence, S.C. Charles Bailey Bynum of Florence, SC passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2011. The son of the late Ruth B. and Robert W. Bynum, he grew up in Gaffney, SC, where he met and married his childhood sweetheart, the late Martha C. Bynum. He and his family moved to Florence, SC in 1963 where he was an independent insurance adjuster for 30 years. He is survived by his 3 sons and their families; Bill Bynum and his wife Pamela Moore Bynum of Florence, Barry Bynum and his wife Patrice Drayton Bynum of Myrtle Beach, and Brian Bynum and his fiancée Suzan Orrico of Florence. He is also survived by six grandchildren; Will, Lauren, Bryce and Brooklyn all of Florence and Jada and Farrah of Myrtle Beach. Visitation will be at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home in Florence on Saturday, October 8 from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Graveside service will be on Sunday, October 9 at Oakland Cemetery in Gaffney, S.C. at 4:00 P.M. with Dr. M.B. Morrow officiating and directed by Blakely Funeral Home of Gaffney.
