Charles Stephen Matthews

Charles Stephen Matthews, 62, of Florence, SC, passed away June 16, 2024. He was the son of Diane Collins Floyd and the late Pressley Matthews. Charles has been transporting mobile homes for many years. He loved to meet and talk to people. He also loved his dog Jackson very much. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, CC and Genoise Collins; paternal grandparents, Ed and Melinda Matthews. He is survived by his daughters, Erica Matthews and Candy Matthews; sister, Michelle (John) Taylor; grandchildren, Nicco, Nick, Tristan, Riley, Kaitlyn, Bradley, and Kennedy; special niece and nephews, Stormy, Jonathen, and Bingo; special uncle, Cammie Collins. A graveside service will take place at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at the Matthews Cemetery in Coward.
