Charles Proctor Cusack, Jr. Florence, SC Charles Proctor Cusack, Jr., 80, of Florence, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at a local hospital after an illness. Mr. Cusack was born in Florence Co., a son of the late Charles Proctor and Olive Ozela Cockfield Cusack, Sr. He retired from the Postal Service and was a member of NARFE.He was a US Army Veteran, having served during the Korean War. Mr. Cusack was a member of the First Baptist Church of Florence for over 50 years where he served as an usher. He was also a member of the Pamplico Masonic Lodge #324. Mr. Cusack is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Marie Moore Cusack. Mr. Cusack is survived by his three children, Allen Cusack of Florence; Janet Cusack (William) Johnson of Peachtree City, GA, and Neal Cusack of Hartsville; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; his sister, Rhette McClam Cannon of Columbia. Funeral Services will be held 3:00PM Sunday, March 25, 2012 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Hyman. The family will receive friends 1-3:00PM Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 300 South Irby Street, Florence, SC 29506.
