Cherry Neel Witherspoon

Cherry N. Witherspoon, 68, of Pamplico, SC passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Ms. Witherspoon was born in Pryor, Oklahoma a daughter of Betty Perkins Nason and the late Robert Wayne Neel. She was preceded in death by her grandparents that raised her, Dale and Cherry Neel and by her father. Surviving are her mother; son, David (Magen) Witherspoon of Pamplico, SC; daughter, Amy (Tim) Hall of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren, HaLeigh (Trent) Haywood, Ethan Cox, Avery Cox, Olivia Cox, Mary Hanna Witherspoon, Ava Grace Isgett, and Ella Jane Witherspoon; great-grandchildren, Blaise Haywood, Arlo Kate Haywood, and Ellie Lou Haywood; brother, Dwight Neel of Oklahoma; sisters, Renee (Harold) Perritt of Florence, SC, Sandra (Jason) Proctor of Missouri, Debra Douglas of Columbia, SC, and Pamela Cox of Florence, SC.She was a loving Nanny and her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 pm Friday, June 24, 2022at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with a memorial service to be held at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
