Cheryl Dawn Mcgee Powell

Cheryl Dawn McGee Powell, 79, of Florence, SC, passed away peacefully at home April 9, 2024. Mrs. Powell was the youngest daughter of the late pastor Willard McGee and Dorothy McGee. She has been a member of Florence Baptist Temple since 1971. She was a homemaker and business owner for over 35 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Glenn Powell and older siblings, Wayne McGee and Phyllis Poston. Surviving are her daughters, Heather Hooks and Marsha Powell; grandchild, Andrew (Amanda) Brown; sister-in-law, Mary McGee; nieces and nephew, Annette Poston, Timothy (Deanne) McGee and Tamera; great- niece and nephew, Avery and Alyssa McGee. Family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Florence Baptist Temple with the service to be held at 11:00 AM on April 12, 2024, in the chapel at Florence Baptist Temple In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Jane Boswell Animal Florence Area Humane Society, P.
