Christopher Dain Cox

Christopher Dain Cox, 50, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023. He was born in Pamplico, SC, the son of Ronald Dain Cox and the late Vicki Atkinson. Mr. Cox enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing guitar with his son. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his son, Cameron A. Cox; and maternal and paternal grandparents, Carlyle McKissick, Mavin McKissick, and Alva Dain Cox Surviving are his father, Ronald Dain Cox; son, Brandon Cox; daughters, Kristina (Jordan) Mayo and Makayla Cox; brother, Shane Atkinson; sisters, Daina Welch and Blair Cox; and grandchildren, Carson Mayo, Laine Cox, and Jameson Cox; and favorite grandmother, Betty Cox. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the McLeod Trauma ICU for their help during this difficult time. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
