Cicero McLellan, Sr. 83, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Cicero was born the son of the late Celia Clark McLellan and Willie McLellan. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, where he played on the baseball team. He was the owner and operator of Marion Game Room for 40 plus years. Cicero attended Judson Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC. He was an avid Braves fan and loved to play golf. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Pearl Purvis McLellan; granddaughter, Michelle Ward and siblings, Robert McLellan, Charlie McLellan, Tommy McLellan, W. C. McLellan, Lucy Boatwright, Mary Ellen Causey and Deborah Gillette. Cicero is survived by his sons, Cicero (Michelle) McLellan, Jr. and Ken (Christy) Seal; daughters, Catherine (Jimmy) Barnes, Bonnie (Jeff) Johnson and Tammy Ward; brother, Leroy (Mary) McLellan, sisters, Nancy Ratley and Ann Trosper; grandchildren, Rachel (Kevin) Williamson, Victoria Johnson, Jonathan (Marissa) Seal, Christian Seal, David Seal, Renee Seal, Rebecca (Eric) Walsh, Crystal Brown and April Ward; a number of great-grandchildren and a number nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Florence Memorial Gardens Chapel. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM on Tuesday in the Chapel directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
