Conrad Henry Andrews

Conrad Henry Andrews Florence, SC Conrad Henry Andrews, 75, of Florence passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Mr. Andrews was born in Darlington Co., SC, a son of the late Henry Cade and Virginia Blackmon Andrews. He was a member of Indian Branch United Methodist Church in Darlington and had attended College Park Baptist Church in Florence. He was a member of the SC National Guard, a member of the Sudan Temple Shrine in New Bern, NC, a member of the St. David's Masonic Lodge in Darlington. Mr. Andrews was an avid golfer and a member of the Darlington Country Club. He retired as District Manager from Atlantic Coast Life in 1984 after 20 years of service. Mr. Andrews is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Calvin Andrews, Marshall Andrews and Johnny Andrews. Mr. Andrews is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Sara Johnson Andrews of Florence; brother, Fred Andrews of Florence; very special brother-in-law, Russell (Eleanor) Johnson of Laurinburg, NC; a number of nieces and nephews and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 23, 2012 at College Park Baptist Church in Florence. Burial will follow in the Indian Branch United Methodist Church Cemetery, Darlington directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
