Corrine White

Ms. Corrine White was born March 3, 1941 in Florence, SC. She was the daughter of Mr. Samuel Clayton White and Mrs. Girlener Grant White. She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Adrienne Bennett and Julius Bennett, Jr.; her grandchildren, Courtney Ebony Bennett, Joshua G. Bennett, Robert Hewitt, and Kai Bennett-Smith; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a special cousin, Laverne Alls. She was predeceased in death by her siblings, Julia May White-Williamson, twin brothers, James and John White, Boyd “Tinkey” White, Girlena White-Boone, George “Chuck” White, and David “Moon” White; daughter-in-law, Deborah Bennett. Ms. White was a graduate of Wilson Hight School, class of 1959. After graduation, she married and moved to New York where she worked for Chase Manhattan Bank for many years. While in New York, Ms. White received Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. She returned home and worked for McLeod Regional Medical Center for many years and additionally worked for Comfort Keepers. Ms. White was a graduate of Gloryland Bible College in Myrtle Beach, SC. After her retirement from McLeod, she continued to reside in Florence, SC. She was an active member of the Christian Love Tabernacle #2 Church until the Lord called her home. Her favorite scripture was II Chronicles, 7:14 – “If my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sins and I will heal their land.” Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
