DAVID RAY DARDEN Florence, S.C. David Ray Darden, 54, of Quinby, died Saturday, September 4, 2010 at his residence. David was born in Dallas, Texas, a son of the late Carl Ray Darden and the late Katie Lee Anderson Darden Brock. He had worked for Daniel Construction and as a Long-Haul truck driver. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, loved fishing, and was an active member of the Quinby community. He is survived by his Daughters; Melissa K. Darden of Florence, Leigh Ann (David) Conception of Perth Amboy, NJ, and Christian Virginia Darden of Port Reading, NJ; Sons; Michael Ray Darden of Rocky Point, NC and David Michael Anthony Darden of Port Reading, NJ; Grandmother, Gaynelle Anderson of Lexington, SC; Sister; Pamela (Bob) Albright of Harlem, GA; Brother, Randal L. Brock of Florence; Step-Father, Willard B. Brock of Florence; 6 Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a Brother, Ronald Horace Darden. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the residence, 210 Honeysuckle Lane, Quinby, SC.
