Delia Robinson Fowler

Delia Robinson Fowler, 89, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. Mrs. Fowler was born in Bennettsville, SC a daughter of the late Earl H. Robinson and Theo Steen Robinson. She was a founding member of Unity Baptist Church and enjoyed flowers and family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilbert C. Fowler; brothers, Kenny Robinson, Jesse Robinson, and Bobby Robinson; sisters, Virginia Younginer, Pauline Huckabee, Ann Patterson, and Cynthia Grant. Surviving are her daughter, Terry F. (Tim) Spivey; grandchildren, Aron (Mike) Jackson and Matthew (Amanda) Spivey; great-grandchildren, Luke Spivey, Lilly Jackson, Noah Spivey, Harper Spivey, Emma Jackson, Michael Gerald, and Sam Gerald; brother, Sammy (Tonya) Robinson, and sister, Kathy (H.L.) Feagin. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 12:00 noon Monday, July 3, 2023 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the service to be held at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Florence National Cemetery. The family wishes to give a special thanks to her caregivers, Lucy Washington, Cynthia Briggs, and Belinda Shields, McLeod Hospice and two special neighbors, Wanda Carraway and Susan Caulder.
