Dianne Powell Robinson

Dianne Powell Robinson, 76, of Florence, SC, died Sunday, November 3, 2024, after an illness. Ms. Robinson was born in Florence Co., SC, a daughter of the late Remier and Margaret Dawkins Powell. She retired after many years of service from SCDMV, as an examiner. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harold Robinson, Jr.; granddaughter, Hannah Robinson; sister, Evelyn McDaniel; nieces, Melissa Turner and Robin McDaniel. Surviving is her son, David (Karen) Robinson, of Florence, SC; step-son, Billy (Joan) Robinson, of King, NC; seven grandchildren, Kyle (Lindsey) Robinson, of Georgetown, SC, Kaylon (John) and Kortland (Jason) Robinson, of Effingham, SC, Sarah Robinson, of Charlotte, NC, Samantha, Karson and Kameron Nettles, of Florence, SC; two great-granddaughters, Olivia and Piper Robinson, of Georgetown, SC; nephew, James McDaniel; niece, Amy (Bobby) Tarlton and cousin, Beverly Evans, of Florence. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Florence Area Humane Society, P. O. Box 4808, Florence, SC 29502. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, November 7, 2024, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Florence Memorials Gardens.
