Dolores Alma Pailler Florence, South Carolina Dolores Alma Pailler, 70, of Florence, died Saturday, May 14, 2011, in her home after an extended illness.She was the daughter of Donat and Dorothy Pailler and was born on November 15, 1940 in Boston, MA.Dolores was educated and lived in the Boston Area most of her life.She worked at John Hancock Insurance Agency for almost forty years before retiring and moving to Florence and becoming a faithful member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Donald King and Dennis Pailler. Surviving are a cousin, Carol Ellsworth of Florence and her cousin's two children, Karen and Michael Ellsworth.She also leaves behind many dear friends who loved her and became her extended family. Dolores was an avid admirer and supporter of anything related to Boston.She loved Boston writers, movies set in Boston, and the city's major league sports teams.Those who loved her knew not to call during a Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins, of Celtics game. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:00 on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.The family will receive friends immediately following the services. Her extended family wishes to thank Deacon Jeff Pierfy of St. Anthony's for his friendship and guidance, especially in the final weeks of her life.The family also is grateful to McLeod Hospice for their assistance.
