Donald Freeman

Donald “Phil” Freeman, 65, of Timmonsville, SC, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023. He was born in Timmonsville, SC, the son of the late Judd E. Freeman and Connie Lee Freeman. He enjoyed outdoor sports, like dirt biking and skiing. He also enjoyed fishing. Mr. Freeman loved being with family and friends. He was quick to help any of his loved ones when he could. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Judd Freeman; and his niece, Tonya Carol Bayliff. Surviving are his sisters, Betsy Freeman and Connie Freeman Dean; and nephews, Roanld Justin Dean, Tyler Bayliff, and Julius Bayliff. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 5:00 PM at Elim Baptist Church in Effingham. After the service, everyone is welcome to gather at his sister's, Connie's, house.
