Donald Lee Gregg

DONALD LEE GREGG Florence, SC Donald Lee Gregg, 65 of Florence passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at a local hospital after an illness. Mr. Gregg was born in Florence County, a son of the late Wilson Ellison and Rosa Lee Pitts Gregg. He was a veteran of the US Navy, and retired from the City of Florence Fire Department as captain. Mr. Gregg was a member of the Masons and was also a member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gregg was preceded in death by his brother, James Ellison Gregg. Surviving are brothers, Richard L Gregg and his wife Barbara of Manning, SC, Gary Wayne Gregg of Florence; and 3 nieces. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, 5314 Old River Road, Florence, SC 29506. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00AM Saturday at the funeral home.
