DORIS IVEY JONES Pamplico, SC Doris Ivey Jones, 75, of Pamplico, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in a Florence health care facility after an illness. Mrs. Jones was born in Dillon, SC a daughter of the late Captain Geairson Ivey and Ressie Cook Ivey.She was affiliated with Second Baptist Church in Dillon. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Guy Jones, Jr. Surviving are her sons, Ronnie (Kathy) Jones of Pamplico and Glen (Sharon) Jones of Florence; daughters, Vicky (Keith) Hicks of Florence and Linda (Richie) Hicks of Dillon; brother, Lester Ivey of Dillon; sisters, Marie Suggs of Dillon and Bonnie Springs of Florence; grandchildren, Justin Jones of Texas, Malinda Hicks, Amanda Jones, Austin Jones, all of Florence, Guyton and Joshua Hicks, both of Dillon. Memorials may be made to the Second Baptist Church, PO Box 712, Dillon, SC 29536. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, March 4, 2011 at Woodside Cemetery in Pamplico directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
