Dorothy Waddell Hewitt Pigford Effingham, SC Dorothy Waddell Hewitt Pigford, 89, died Friday, October 14, 2011 at her residence after an illness. Mrs. Pigford was born in Chesterfield Co., SC a daughter of the late L.P. Waddell, Sr. and Carrie Wilkes Waddell. She was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church in Evergreen, SC and had also been a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Whiteville, NC.She was a member of the Eastern Star in Evergreen. She was retired from JC Penney's. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her first husband, Randleson A. Hewitt and by her second husband, Jamison Pigford; 3 brothers, Otis T. "Bud" Waddell, L.P. Waddell, Jr., and Gerald M. Waddell. Surviving are a daughter, Jenene H. (Ted F.) Trump of Effingham; 3 grandchildren, Mike Trump of Columbia, Teddy Trump of Whiteville, NC and Kerri Yow of Greensboro, NC. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hewitt Cemetery.
