DOROTHY THREN Florence, South Carolina DOROTHY THREN, 82, died Monday, November 22, 2010 in a local healthcare facility. Ms. Thren was born in Newark, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Charles Endzel, Sr. and Amelia Pulasky Endzel.She lived in Mount Airy, Maryland for over twenty years and then retired to North Myrtle Beach.She was a member of the Catholic faith her whole life and attended church until she was physically unable. She was the co-owner and operator with her husband for fifteen years of Duraclean by D & J. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, James Robert Thren, Sr., a son, Richard Lee Thren, and a brother, Charlie Endzel, Jr. Surviving are her children, James Robert Thren, Jr. of Florence, SC, Richard Charles (Barbara) Thren of Sudlersville, MD, Edward Wayne Thren of Singapore, Linda Marie (Lawrence) Paulhus of Mt. Airy, MD; grandchildren, Jimmy, Michelle, Stacey, Greg, Megan and Brian; 9 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ed (Mavis) Endzel of Indianapolis, IN; a sister, Amelia Wilson of High Point, NC; a number of nieces and nephews; and her special and dear friend, Betty Secor. Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home is assisting the family and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Fort Lincoln Cemetery inBrentwood, Maryland.
