Douglas Rogers

Douglas Rogers, 68, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Mr. Rogers was born the son of the late Dot Alma Oliver Rogers and Daniel David Rogers, Sr. He was of the Christian/Baptist faith and loved his family dearly. He loved race cars and drag racing. Mr. Rogers was very friendly, funny and passionate about his work. He was a very strong-willed person. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by siblings, Rachel Rogers and Danny Rogers. Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife of 50 years, Debra Turner Rogers; son, Douglas Rogers, Jr.; daughter, Chasity (Rashad) Rogers; grandchildren, Tyler Rogers, Jordan Rogers, Trevor Rogers, Jade Rogers and Jarrod Rogers; great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Seven, Hazael, LJ and Evi Jean; brother, Randy (Rosey) Rogers; and sisters, Becky Berry, Jackie Murphy and Delaine Martin. Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
