EDNA "IRENE" SCOTT Florence, SC Edna "Irene" Scott, 97, died Friday, October 28, 2011 at her residence after an illness. Mrs. Scott was born in James County, TN.She loved bowling and fishing and was a member of Lincoln Park Baptist Church.Mrs. Scott was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene V. Scott; and a son, Gene Scott. Surviving are her daughter, Frances Sartin of Florence, SC; seven grandchildren, Debbie (Robbie) Jones and Donna (Mike) Steger, both of Florence, SC; Joann Steger of Salisbury, NC, Sandy (Jeff) Pyle of St. Petersburg, FL, Eddie (Heidi) Scott of Richmond, MA, Jimmy Scott of Knoxville, TN, and Shelly (Dan) Salinas of The Colony, TX; thirteen great grandchildren and eight great great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel in Knoxville, TN.Burial will follow in the Lynnhurst Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel.
