Edwin G. Powers, Jr.

Edwin G. Powers, Jr., 75, of Florence, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023. Mr. Powers was born in Marion, SC a son of the late Edwin G. Powers and Annie Mae Byrd Orr. He was the owner of a landscaping company. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Sabrina Kay Powers; 1 brother and 5 sisters. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Mary Frances Kennedy Powers; sons, Kenneth Young and Edwin (Amy) Powers; daughters, Elaine (Mark) Stone and Audrey (Jim) Batey; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Billy (Debra) Powers and Tom Powers. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at Mizpah Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the family to receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
