Elloweese Matthews Powell, 96, of Coward, SC passed away on March 5, 2022. Mrs. Powell was born in Coward, SC a daughter of the late William Smiley Matthews and Susie Collins Matthews.She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew A. Powell, Jr.; son, Wayne Powell, and grandson, Clay Powell. Surviving are her son, Randall Powell of Coward; grandchildren, Abby Powell, Josh Powell, and Matthew Powell; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Emily, Gabriel, Josh, Samantha Powell. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 pm Friday, March 11, 2022 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the service to be held at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.Burial will follow in Matthews Cemetery.
