Eloise Grainger Stanton

Eloise "Weez" Grainger Stanton Florence, SC Eloise "Weez" Grainger Stanton, 62, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Medical University of South Carolina after an illness. Mrs. Stanton was born in Horry County, SC a daughter of the late Floyd and Bernice Bullard Grainger.She was a switchboard operator for McLeod Regional Medical Center for 14 years and was a member of Emmanuel Ministries Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and by three brothers, Gene Grainger, Archie Grainger and Winston Grainger. Surviving are her loving and devoted husband of 39 years, Larry Stanton of Florence; son, Bill Stanton of Florence; brother, W.J. Grainger of Loris; sister, Dot Sweat of Florence; mother-in-law, Mariam Lee of Florence and a number of nieces and nephews. The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Emmanuel Ministries Church, PO Box 13294, Florence, SC29504. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.Burial will follow in the cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
