Emma Jean Bailey

Emma Jean Bailey, 84, of Florence, SC died Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in Bethea Retirement Community in Darlington, SC after a long illness. She was born in Florene, SC a daughter of the late Ralph Bailey and Hattie Brown Bailey. She was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church of Florence where she and her mom were very active.Emma Jean was a talented person who loved making crafts, sewing and making great desserts.She had a little dog named B.J. she just loved.Emma Jean loved her family and took care of them when there was a need. Emma Jean will be remembered with fun stories and laughter by her niece, Jessica Jackson and her husband, Jacky of Wilmington, NC; her nephews, Michael Fountain and Ralph Bailey, Jr. of Florence, SC; great nieces, Shannon Jackson, Holly Williams, her husband, Brandon and their son, Evan and Amanda Jackson, and daughter, Kayla, all of Wilmington and Detra Barrier of Florence, SC. The family wishes to extend a thank you to all who took care of her at Bethea with so much kindness, compassion and showed so much support to the family.
