EMMA JEAN ROBINSON SHOOK FLORENCE, S.C. EMMA JEAN ROBINSON SHOOK, 84, of Florence, passed away Friday, October 14, 2011 in the McLeod Hospice house after an illness. Mrs. Shook was born in Cashiers, N.C., a daughter of the late Carl and Lake Alexander Robinson, Jr. She was the widow of the late Rev. Richard V. Shook, to whom she was married for 59 years. She had retired from Milliken Company, and was a member of Palmetto Street Church Of God. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a beloved grandson, Ricky Turner. Surviving are 3 sons; James R. (Linda) Shook of Greer, Ray Shook of Pickens, and Charles D. (Gail) Shook of Greenville; 1 daughter, Patricia A. (Danny) Turner of Timmonsville; 1 brother, Carl Robinson, Jr.; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the Palmetto Street Church of God, followed by the funeral service at 3:00 P.M., directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will be on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. in Graceland West Cemetery, Greenville, S.C. Memorial contributions may be made to Palmetto Street Church Of God, 3132 W.
