Eugenia Woods Hunter

Eugenia Woods Hunter, 64, of Florence, SC passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022. Mrs. Hunter was born in Florence, SC a daughter of the late Benny Woods and Hazel Martin Holloway.She was a CMT and a member of New Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Tommy Woods. Surviving are her husband, James Howard Hunter; son, Bryan (Kique) Durant of Timmonsville; daughters, Denise (Steve) Shepherd of McDonough, GA, Linda Hunter, Michelle Hunter, and Latoya (Shawn Williams) Hunter, all of Effingham; grandchildren, Alize Shepherd, Corey Hunter, Sharde Swaby, Micalah Hunter, Zion Williams, Zuri Williams, Kasiya Durant, and Zyere Keith; great-grandchild, Armain Anderson; brother, Charles (Edna) Woods of Florence; sisters, Judy Thomas, Betty Robinson, Debra Holloway, and Maria (Charles) Pigate, all of Florence; mother-in-law, Reather Bell Hunter; other in-laws, Daphany Robinsons, Harritte (Johnny) Mashack, May (James) Quillen, Darlene Moses, Stevie Gee, and Brenda Gee; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 pm Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
